When you have a big website with hundreds of pages there is an easy way of getting pagespeed report for them. It is called Core Web Vitals report in Google Search console.
Report is collected automatically from real users using web browser. Pages groups have similar structure. Performance metrics calculated for each page group.
There you will see three performance indicators:
- Poor (0-49 PageSpeed score)
- Need Improvements (50-89 PageSpeed score)
- Good (90-100 PageSpeed score)
Monitor this report and start optimization from worst performing pages.
After optimizing couple pages you will notice that most of the pages in other groups are also will be optimized.
Optimizations will be reflected in Search Console after couple days.
Using this report you can easily optimize websites with hundreds and thousand of pages. Report collected pages in 11 different groups for a website with 50k pages.
Optimizing couple pages from each group ensures that all 50k pages will have a good (90-100) PageSpeed score.
Performance checking and reporting is automatic and free. Your task is to check it from time to time and fix speed related issues when reported.
